Here's my list. It's not finished (at the time of posting), but I'll probably keep adding things until Dec. 24th, anyway ;)

The cool thing about this site is you can "reserve" a product so that other people know it's been gotted already, and it will keep it a secret from me. So without further adeiu:

A plea for Christmas lists

Hello, friends and family. Once again the time has come for us to think of and show each other our love through the gift of giving. But this seemingly simple task can become a nightmare if you don't know what to get them.

How many times have you gotten frustrated because you "don't know what they want?" When this happens, people tend to either get them something generic - or worse - not get them anything at all.

That's why I'm asking for lists. Having a list lets me know exactly what you want or need so that I either know what to get you or that you'll like what I'm getting you. Big or small, I don't care. Include things to fit most budgets (CDs?) up through the bigger budgets ($30? $90?). Who knows - maybe a few of us will chip in together to get you that something you really want instead of five pairs of toe socks. Or a Mr. T Chia Pet.

Most importantly, SHARE your list with everyone! It won't do us any good if we don't know what's on it! Post it on your blog, leave it in this post's comments - I'd even be glad to post everyone's just so word gets around. Or, if you want to make life even easier for us givers, you could use a site like TheThingsIWant so that we'd all know what's already been gotten for you and what else you'd like.

So please, send me your lists. Please include a minimum of 3-5 things so that we have some gift-getting options (the longer the list, the better). Include necessary details (Shirt size? Shoe size?) And don't put this off - it's already December, dern it. Hope to hear from you all soon :)

New camera!

Fall is here, and so is my new camera. I'm pretty excited about it, considering the series of good deals I got on it & the accessories. Quite the blessing.

This means I won't have to keep borrowing Steph's camera for my school assignments.

This and that

I set the smoke alarm off at 3am yesterday. I was . . . boiling water?

I worked my last day at Mio Gelato today, bringing my job total down to two. But my college total is also going up to two. Drat.

It's 1:39am and I haven't heard from Mathys yet. His car isn't parked outside and he's not answering his phone.

Mae is coming to Portland!

With Circa Survive, Mute Math, Discover America on October 27th!! This is awesome - I've been wanting to see both MuteMath and Mae for a long time now, but I thought I'd missed my chance this time around. I MUST HAVE TICKETS.

Peter Jennings dead

Died of lung cancer at 67.

It seems kind of sudden - I hadn't heard he was in poor health, even.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

I am of course referring to Tony "The Doctor" Daytona, heavyweight boxer, when he ordered a supreme pizza at 2 o'clock in the morning.
